Breakfast Sausage Recipe

Better-for-You Breakfast Sausage

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. ground meat (you can use chicken, turkey, pork, etc..)
  • 2 tsp. sage
  • 1 1/2 tsp. fennel
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • Salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix meat and spices in a medium bowl with a tablespoon drop the meat mixture onto a lined baking sheet.
  3. Flatten into patties with the back of the spoon cook about 15 minutes.
  4. Check the center for doneness or use a meat Thermometer.
